My Aunt referred us to Christine about a month before my husband finished up his last cruise while on sea duty. 2 hours after he finally got off the ship, we were in her office and on our way out to look at some listings she and I looked at via the Internet. You see, I was living in Indiana at the time and she worked with me on the phone and through emails to find us our first home. We only had 4 days to search since we were flying back to spend time with family and friends before he had to report back to the ship.
WELL, she did it. It didn't happen on the first day, but we finally saw a home worth looking into. We weren't the only ones interested in it either. There was 5 of us bidding on this lovely home and we were the ones picked to live in it. I couldn't believe it. We were finally home owners and most importantly.... A family. All of us under one roof...
I can't thank Christine enough for all she has done. It means the world to me to know that there are still people in this world that help people like us find our dreams. It might just be a job for her, but I also know that she wants to satisfy her clients needs before anything. Thanks for listening and getting us into our first home.

"My wife and I first met Christine Brody when we found several homes in Virginia Beach we were interrested in. We were both impressed with her open and honest personality and soon found out she was also a great negotiator, we went under a Buyer's Broker Agreement with her. To say we were pleased would be an understatement. We found the home we wanted and negotiated a fair price. Christine took care of everything and got all out inspections on track, was present with us for all of them (even represented us for a couple we couldn't get too!). She did such a great job, we hired her to sell an existing home after the purchase. We expected to own the two homes for awhile, but that didn't happen. In less than a week, we had a solid contract on our prior home which was a full-price-offer! We were stunned (not to say excitedly happy). For that sell, she was on top of everything and was present for all the Buyer's inspections and things could not have went any smoother. In both cases, we closed on time with no hassles.
We planned on being in our new home for several years. However, after a little less than two years, we decided we wanted to retire and move to North Carolina to be closer to our family. We expected to lose money on the house because of the housing market crash and improvements we made to the home, again expecting to be there for several years. We called Christine Brody and she responded immediately and again, made everything work out to our total satisfaction. She sold our home in a tough market and we didn't lose any money on the sale. To break even was our goal and Christine worked very hard to make sure we got our investment back so we could reinvest it in our retirement home. Our only regret is we couldn't pack her up and bring her with us.
Bottom line: I retired after more than 35 years in the Navy. I've bought and sold homes many times during that career. I expected to do most of the work selling and buying my homes in Virginia. What a relief it was to find someone like Christine Brody. She can be totally relied upon to get the job done. She is a professional who is open and honest with her clients and you can rely on her to do much more than plant a sign in your yard. I would quickly recommend her to anyone selling or buying a home, especially in such a tight market as we have today."

If you are looking for a professional with a peoples frame of mind, then you definitely are looking at the right person. I could Call Christine at noon on a Sunday, and by Monday morning or afternoon we were out looking at another batch of homes that I had found. She brought with her, not only her experience on neighborhoods, lenders and inspectors, but, when we said "no, not quite what we are looking for", Christine, would bag it and move onto the next.
